I remember tobacco barns like this converted one. I remember the structure, the smell, the process, pulling the loaded tractor in one door out the other with men and boys swinging the loaded tobacco sticks up the rafters to dry.

I grew up in SE Indiana, tobacco was a huge crop. From the planting to going to market. Probably one reason school systems get summers off, needed the help then. Now? That is another story.
