I was up front from the beginning, I wanted to hear the student’s voices. They were loud and clear, so brave and powerful. We listened. The crowd got bigger, the Capitol’s lawn was packed with people and passion of all ages. The students were feeding us truth.
The crowd grew and grew, the sun was hot, I had to slip out of the crowd into the back where I could not hear. Even then I was feeling such a part of people coming together to be a part of something so important. Lives matter, safety matters, education matters, the young voices matter to me and others.
