Lisbon-Sintra-Palacio da Pena

Another favorite day, a train to Sintra, cab up so far then walked the rest to the highest peak of the Serra de Sintra. We made it to the spectacular palace of Pena. Here are a few pics. Put on your shades. The combination of the sky and the medley of colors and arcitectectural styles are breathtaking. This palace was built in the 19th century. Sunglasses please.

Where’s Moma? Not climbing more stairs. Can you find her!

Standing in line, one gets bored, someone takes a pic of my baby curls in the back. We tour the palace and now we are heading back down.

Another stop to a castle that starts with a M and a Botantical Gardens in honor of the Duchess of Cornell. Beautiful.

Coffee at this point is not helping me. I just know it is wonderful, but the next day is our last. I feeling sad to leave but my heart is so full of joy for having this time with my girls. I am a happy Moma to be with Jamie as we get to have time with Laura in Portugal.
