I teach Water Fitness, yesterday I taught my first private lesson. My attitude about exercise has evolved over the years, I think a workout in the water is the best for total body and mind strengthening.
I find people start taking water classes for many reasons, injuries, pre / post surgery, to improve health… you name it. Elisia’s reason was to eventually learn how to swim and conquer her fear of the water.
As I said before, the water is the best for total body and mind strengthening.
Here is just another swimming pool to work out in. An opportunity to get fit and to make the power of the water work for me, to feel the resistance and the water’s pull in all directions. I love it!
I also that pull my every day life out of the water. I’m not so sure that is a healthy thing.
Even though more interesting to me than to the boys, this hour train ride was a trip back to the early 1900. It was difficult for them to grasp the slow ride, uncomfortable seats and even the reality of boring. On the other hand, I loved it.
One can see the egg sac on her back. I have been watching her work this week just outside my sunroom window. She screams, “don’t mess with me now or ever”. I’m not sure her official name, but we know her action is pinching.
Look again please, this is my drive-way leading down into my back yard. This mossy sloped and aged pavement is so rich with moss, it could easily be confused.
A simple garden moment reminder for me to look closer and not judge a pavement by it’s color!
When a flower blooms one time a season, it gives a total commitment to providing a show. This stunning lily is always a surprise for me, in fact it seems alittle late blooming, then BAM! What a gift!
I love this small office building I located this morning on the corner of Miccosukee Street and Doctors Drive in Tallahassee. Check out the succulents growing on the roof at the backdoor entrance of Urban Greens Architects. I like their style, it is a garden moment for sure.
This simply peaceful cottage came alive over a lovely lunch today with some good friends and delightful conversations. The deck overlooks the Dickerson Bay in Panacea, Florida. Feel the peace?
On a walk today around Lake Ella I was surprised how this turtle posed for me. I looked at him, he looked at me, eye to eye, he blinked, then he blinked again. It was his eyes that I loved the most. It was definitely an eye to eye moment.
