This sweet little lady left Baltimore this morning. She is taking a trip to NYC. She is moving there in hopes of a better life. She is in search of a plant, yes a plant, maybe a fern. You see her hat is empty, she is designed as a flower pot and she is going to NYC in hopes of being fulfilled. This sweet little lady is looking for fulfillment. Good luck little lady, good luck.

Just a Little Lady on a Trip Looking for Fulfillment

Baltimore’s Penn Station
Your vision is fine, it is not you, it’s the photographer and her driver. FYI- I’m the photographer, but we were zipping along last night and I had to get a picture of Penn Station. A fast pic of this historical 1911 Beaux-Arts style of architecture located on N. Charles Street. Frank thought my picture was artistic. I love Baltimore’s history and architecture. It is artistic!
Fabulous Fanny’s
If you have to wear them, make it fun… Laura and I stopped in on Sunday for a minute or an hour to see our friends at Fabulous Fanny’s in NYC. It is always a fun and happy visit, we love trying on their eye glasses and buying them. We really love it when they start bringing out glasses from the backroom because they know we’ll like them. Must run for now, see you later.

My Back Yard Landscape Changed in One Moment
Two weeks ago today, this aged Water Oak just fell over in my backyard. Tallahassee had experienced 11″+ rain, the ground was saturated and the tree just laid down. If there was a perfect place in my yard to lay, this tree found it. I am going to miss this tree, its shade, its stature and character, it was the rope tree. It is hard to grasp, but it is true, the tree had its moment. So thank you for all the good moments, I mean that. Now if you look close, Mr. Bojangles, my little black and white cat is sitting on the tree keeping it real. By next Monday the tree should be gone and more moments will happen.
Lauraville
I suppose Lauraville is another neighborhood in Baltimore established in 1851. I spotted this neighborhood entrance on Wednesday, I got the shot in the rain with only two honks from other traffic members wanting me to MOVE. I’m going to Lauraville in NYC today, I’m traveling to NYC to see the real Laura, my daughter who grew up in my neighborhood, I can’t wait. I promise to send you a picture.
Federal Hill to the East
In every direction the view from Federal Hill in Baltimore was beautiful that evening. The right spot at the right moment for the right memory. If people come to Baltimore for a visit or to attend a conference, right here, the harbor is typically where they stay and what they see. I’m so thankful for being able to live, work and experience Baltimore for this moment in time. Unforgettable.
Federal Hill in Baltimore
Isn’t this a beautiful sight, overlooking the harbor? I just happened to be on Federal Hill the first of the week. I love how Baltimore has preserved the old with new establishments.
We Got Alot Goin’ On!!

It seems life provides alot to handle at times. You too? I find a sip & bite works for me, and then sometimes I have to gulp. I think everyone is dealing with difficult circumstances in one fashion or another. Tough decisions with surgeries and illnesses, work decisions to make, fallen trees to remove, missing loved ones…life is tough to experience at times. I have come to the conclusion that everyone is going through some-thing. I would hate to do life alone, because I think we all have “alot goin’ on” and so thankful to have family and friends who will sip, bite or gulp with me.
A favorite old Diner in Baltimore is the Sip & Bite; it is near Fells Point, on Boston Street. I ate there again this week and ordered The Eastern Shore. This is a sandwich of crab meat, eggs and bacon on rye. It is very Baltimore, as they say. This might be a strange combination to some, but not to others and I gulped it.
So have a good day whether you sip, bite or gulp life.
