Susanne’s Garden Moments

I have a Radio Talk Show called Susanne’s Garden Moments.  Today I had a moment, in the chairs below

Look close... a bunch of baby kiwi

with Bev Gregory on the family farm in Havana, Florida.  They grow 13+ acres of tomatoes, but the family garden is closer to the house.  The Kiwi plants here are babies, but have been hand pollinated.  Can you picture that?  Check it out.

It’s a garden moment

Susanne’s Garden Moment is a radio talk show.  This Saturday I am

Chairs that call one to sit down!!

live

from Havana Florida.  Listeners will meet Bev Gregory as we talk about

her garden and the family farm.  We will be sitting right here in these

chairs.  Got the picture?  Radio is an awesome media.  It maybe the

only media that one has to really concentrate on the spoken words,

use the imagination of one’s own experiences and trust it will be time

well spent in our busy world.  Please join us, just Google Susanne’s

Garden Moments and get the internet information.

A friend feeling relaxed

This is Penny.  Penny visited the “store”last weekend, but before she left, she stayed awhile.  Isn’t it a sweet and old fashion feeling to go to someone yard/garden and sit down and visit?  I loved that.  I loved that Penny and I had some time to catch up on life.  It was very relaxing to visit, having some iced tea, a cookie in the out-of-doors with the birds singing in the fresh air, now that was

Sit a spell....

a bonus of a visit.   Thanks Penny.

One more spring thought…

Springtime in Tallahassee

I lie.  There will be more spring thoughts, but I had to show you this picture.  This is a small little bed in my front yard.  A couple years ago I planted columbine, phlox,  hydrangeas and blue eye grasses.

They are all perennials that are so sweet in the spring and such a nice surprise.   Can you say woo-la-la?

Cottage in the Garden Sale after dark

The  “Cottage in the Garden” Sale is over and I feel so awesome about the success of the 2 days.  I had between 55-65 people who came to my Outdoor Room, sales were good, I didn’t sell everything, but it was an incredible beginning and my consignees are pleased.  What a pleasure to meet so many nice people.  That was such a part of the success.

I can’t resist this picture taken last night after “store hours“.  How beautiful is this?  It is those lamps.  My lamps didn’t sell like I expected, but I had them plugged in and turned on all day and even into the evening last night.  Am I the only one who feels this way about the glow of a lamp?

I think lamps make a room come alive, inside and outside.  Lamps bring such an ambiance to any room, even in my Outdoor Room transformed into a Cottage in the Garden Showroom, but now everything is put away until the next Cottage in the Garden Sale.

It is after dark again, where is the light switch?

This lamp is my lamp, this lamp is your lamp…

Splendor

The “Cottage in the Garden” Sale is happening.  One of my favorite things I am selling is a pair of end table lamps.  They are the sweetest, an eye catcher, very unique and one of a kind, two of a kind.  Know what I mean? They didn’t sell today, but someone is going to come into this outdoor shop, spot them and love them just like me.

You might love them too just like me and you might want to buy them.  So stop by, call me, leave me a comment.  Let’s connect over these precious end table lamps.
